This week had a tough start for the Surprise Saguaros in the AFL. In back-to-back games their pitching allowed a combined 31 runs in a pair of losses. On Wednesday, things went more how the Saguaros would like to see them go as they took out some frustrations on the Mesa Solar Sox, 13-2.

Aidan Miller went 3-for-6 with a double, a run scored, a stolen base, and three RBI in the game. Nori, who has started slowly but is showing signs of coming around, was 2-for-5 with a triple, two runs scored, and two runs driven in. Surprise pounded 14 hits, including three doubles, a triple, and a home run. Nori’s average is now at .154, up from his low of .091 two weeks ago. Miller is now hitting .333 in the AFL season.
