It comes down to this. Tuesday is the final day to vote for the All-Star Game bat boy/girl. Yes, they have gotten to this point. If only we could vote for the announcers. With Justin Turner, Ranger Suarez, and Cristopher Sanchez all being snubbed, we surely can’t let Adam Crognale be snubbed.

All 30 teams contributed “hype videos” to promote their bat boy/girl to get the trip to Atlanta. From there, it was knocked down to four participants and two will get the honor of working as a bat boy/girl in the All-Star Game. Phillies bat boy Adam Crognale is among the final four participants as he hopes to win the honor. Crognale has become somewhat of a local celebrity with his frequent mentions in the Phillies broadcasts throughout the past five seasons.

Phillies announcers Tom McCarthy and John Kruk have helped to turn Crognale into a celebrity. Kruk even dubbed him “bat bruh,” as a nickname.

“I’m trying not to get my hopes up too much, but I’m hoping to get enough votes because it would be a great experience,” Crognale was quoted as saying over the weekend.

Crognale, 25, is a survivor of Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma at age 15 and has been cancer-free for nine years according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. Crognale was a nominee as the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Visionary of the Year Award last year for his fundraising efforts since he beat the disease. “Everything that I’ve done here has never been with the intention of getting attentions. I’m all for it if it’s for the right reasons,” Crognale told The Inquirer.

The 2026 All-Star Game will be in Philadelphia to celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States. Normally, the home team ball boy or girl is involved in the game, so Adam would have served his turn next season. This season though, MLB made it into a contest that gives Crognale the opportunity to do the job a year early. There is no word on whether he will be guaranteed a spot for next year’s game.

You can click here until 11:59 p.m. tonight (July 8) to vote for Adam.
