Lehigh Valley IronPigs

Making a rehab start, Nola was electric over 5.2 innings, striking out 11 batters while allowing only four hits and no walks. He conceded two runs, both in the sixth inning, when Buffalo broke a scoreless tie. Lehigh Valley’s bullpen couldn’t stop the bleeding, allowing four more runs over the final innings. Offensively, the IronPigs were stifled by Buffalo’s Easton Lucas and Andrew Bash, who combined for 7.1 innings of one-hit ball with eight strikeouts. The IronPigs failed to get a runner past second base and struck out 10 times. Their lone hit came from Justin Crawford in the third inning.
Reading Fightin Phils
Reading staged a thrilling comeback to defeat Akron 11–9 in a high-scoring affair. Down 8–6 in the seventh, the Fightins rallied with a two-out, three-run double by Zach Arnold that gave them a 10–8 lead. Caleb Ricketts and Dylan Campbell were offensive catalysts, with Ricketts homering and driving in multiple runs, while Campbell added a two-run homer and walked twice. Ricketts’ homer was his fourth of the season, and Campbell’s blast marked his sixth. Felix Reyes contributed an RBI double, and Nick Dunn added a key single to keep the rally alive. On the mound, Eiberson Castellano earned the win with 2.0 innings of relief, while Tommy McCollum closed the door for his seventh save. Despite allowing nine runs, Reading’s bullpen held firm late, with Jack Jasiak striking out three in his Double-A debut. The Fightins showed resilience, overcoming a five-run deficit and capitalizing on Akron’s bullpen struggles. Their offense tallied 13 hits, including two home runs and three doubles. The win extended Reading’s streak to six games and showcased their depth and clutch hitting. Home runs: Caleb Ricketts (4), Dylan Campbell (6).
