Lehigh Valley IronPigs

The IronPigs were shut out 8–0 by the Rochester Red Wings at Coca-Cola Park. Starting pitcher Alan Rangel took the loss, allowing two runs on four hits and three walks over five innings while striking out six. The bullpen struggled late, surrendering six more runs across the final four innings. Offensively, Lehigh Valley had opportunities but failed to capitalize, leaving the bases loaded in the third and runners in scoring position in the fourth and fifth innings. Despite collecting six hits and drawing multiple walks, the IronPigs couldn’t push a run across. Francisco Mejia and Trey Lipscomb homered for Rochester, while Lehigh Valley’s bats remained silent.

Reading Fightin Phils

Reading dropped a 4–3 heartbreaker in 12 innings to the Portland Sea Dogs. Paul McIntosh opened the scoring with a solo home run in the second inning, his sixth of the season. Dylan Campbell tied the game in the 11th with a clutch two-run homer, his second of the year. Despite the late rally, Reading couldn’t hold off Portland in the 12th. Starter Griff McGarry pitched well, allowing just one earned run on three hits over 5.2 innings with six strikeouts. Mitch Neunborn took the loss, giving up the go-ahead run in the 12th. Offensively, Reading showed resilience, but Portland’s bullpen held firm in the final frame.

Jersey Shore BlueClaws

The Jersey Shore BlueClaws and Hudson Valley Renegades were postponed by rain on Sunday.

Clearwater Threshers

Clearwater was blanked 6–0 by the Lakeland Flying Tigers. Starter Juan Amarante gave up six runs over five innings, including a three-run third and a two-run fourth. The Threshers’ offense was held to just four hits and failed to advance a runner past second base. Dante Nori and Eduardo Tait each singled, but Lakeland’s pitching dominated from start to finish. Clearwater’s bullpen held Lakeland scoreless over the final four innings, but the damage had already been done. The Threshers’ bats were quiet, and defensive miscues contributed to the loss.
