Lehigh Valley IronPigs
The IronPigs opened the second half of their season with a thrilling 4-1 extra-inning win over the Buffalo Bisons. Weston Wilson set the tone early with a solo home run in the first inning, his second of the season. Starter Nabil Crismatt was solid, tossing five innings and allowing just one run on six hits while striking out four. The bullpen was lights-out, with Guillo Zuñiga earning the win after two scoreless innings, striking out two and allowing just one hit. Offensively, the IronPigs broke a 1-1 tie in the 10th inning. Gabriel Rincones Jr. delivered a go-ahead sacrifice fly, and Oscar Mercado followed with a clutch two-run single to left, scoring Wilson and Garrett Stubbs. The IronPigs snapped a five-game losing streak and improved to 47-28 on the season.

Reading Fightin Phils
Reading kicked off their second half with a 6-3 road win over the Richmond Flying Squirrels. Carson DeMartini was a spark plug at the top of the lineup, recording two doubles and scoring twice. Seth Beer provided the power, launching a two-run homer in the fourth inning—his sixth of the year. Alex Binelas also had a multi-hit game and scored twice. Jack Dallas and the bullpen held Richmond scoreless over the final two innings to secure the win.

Jersey Shore BlueClaws
The BlueClaws fell 6-2 to the Brooklyn Cyclones despite a strong showing from Zach Arnold, who went 2-for-4 with a solo home run. Arnold also drove in the team’s other run with a single in the second inning. Starter Brandon Beckel struggled early, giving up four runs on six hits over three innings. However, the bullpen was strong: Wesley Moore and Drew Garrett combined for three scoreless innings, with Garrett striking out two in a perfect sixth. Offensively, Pierce Bennett also collected two hits, but the BlueClaws couldn’t capitalize on scoring opportunities late in the game.

Clearwater Threshers
Clearwater was shut out 3-0 by the Lakeland Flying Tigers in a game where offense was hard to come by. The Threshers managed just three hits, with Aroon Escobar’s first-inning double being the lone extra-base hit. Gabriel Barbosa turned in a solid start, striking out five over four innings while allowing just one run. The bullpen was serviceable: Tristan Garnett, Orlando Gonzalez, and Luis Avila each pitched an inning or two, combining to allow two additional runs. Despite drawing a pair of walks in the ninth to bring the tying run to the plate, Clearwater couldn’t break through and suffered their fifth shutout loss of the season.
