Lehigh Valley IronPigs vs. Worcester Red Sox

However, Worcester responded in the sixth inning with a grand slam by Nathan Hickey, putting the Red Sox ahead 4-3. The IronPigs fought back in the bottom of the sixth, tying the game with an RBI single from Erick Brito. The game remained deadlocked until the ninth inning, when Garrett Stubbs laid down a bunt, forcing a throwing error that allowed Buddy Kennedy to score the winning run. Alan Rangel pitched 5.2 strong innings, striking out nine batters, while Max Lazar earned his second win of the season.

Jersey Shore BlueClaws vs. Aberdeen IronBirds

The BlueClaws fell 8-5 to the Aberdeen IronBirds on BooClaws Night. Aberdeen jumped out to a 6-1 lead early, capitalizing on multiple balks by Jersey Shore pitcher Mavis Graves. The BlueClaws attempted a comeback, with Matt Higgins launching a home run in the sixth inning and Pierce Bennett hitting an RBI triple in the eighth. They managed to bring the tying run to the plate in the ninth, but Aberdeen’s infielder-turned-pitcher Angel Tejada closed out the game. The game featured a record nine balks, five by the BlueClaws and four by Aberdeen.

Clearwater Threshers vs. St. Lucie Mets

The Threshers secured a 7-5 victory over the St. Lucie Mets, powered by Aroon Escobar’s two home runs. Escobar hit a solo shot in the third inning and followed it up with a two-run blast in the sixth. Brady Day contributed with a two-run single in the first inning, while Griffin Burkholder added a sacrifice fly. The Mets attempted a late comeback, scoring three runs in the seventh inning, but Clearwater’s bullpen held strong. Titan Hayes earned his fifth save, shutting down the Mets in the ninth.
