The Fightins suffered a heartbreaking 6-5 walk-off loss to the Binghamton Rumble Ponies. Reading had a strong start, jumping to a 4-0 lead in the third inning, thanks to an RBI double by Robert Moore and a three-run homer by Aidan Miller. However, Binghamton mounted a late comeback, scoring six runs in the final three innings. The turning point came in the ninth inning when Cade Fergus dropped a line drive, allowing the winning run to score. Despite the loss, Moore had a standout performance, hitting a solo home run in the ninth to briefly tie the game.

Jersey Shore BlueClaws vs. Aberdeen IronBirds

The BlueClaws secured a 7-2 victory over the Aberdeen IronBirds, powered by Alex McFarlane’s dominant pitching and Zach Arnold’s three-run homer. McFarlane pitched 4.1 scoreless innings, allowing just one hit while striking out five batters. Arnold’s home run in the second inning gave Jersey Shore an early 3-0 lead, and they continued to add runs throughout the game. Clearwater Threshers vs. St. Lucie Mets

The Threshers exploded offensively, defeating the Mets 11-6. Clearwater racked up 15 hits, with Eduardo Tait, Brady Day, and Raider Tello each collecting three hits. The Threshers took an early lead in the first inning and continued to build on it throughout the game. Avery Owusu-Asiedu’s two-run homer in the fifth inning extended the Threshers’ advantage to 6-2.
