A pair of minor league players were activated from the Lehigh Valley Injured List on Tuesday. Outfielder Gabriel Rincones Jr. and infielder Erick Brito were both activated after spending time on rehab assignments. Other than on their rehab assignments, the pair have not played in the minors this season.

Rincones, 25, had an outside shot at earning a roster spot with the Phillies had he played in Spring Training. He reported to camp with some knee soreness and never did appear in a Spring Training game with the Phillies. In 10 rehab games with Clearwater and Jersey Shore, Rincones hit .182 (6-33) with one home run and four RBI. Last season with the IronPigs, Rincones hit 18 home runs and drove in 73 with a .240/.370/.430/800 slash line.

He had opened eyes in Spring Training back in 2025 when he showed power, but was sent to Lehigh Valley and spent the entire season with the IronPigs.

Brito split last season with Double-A Reading and Triple-A Lehigh Valley. In 49 games with Lehigh Valley, the 24-year-old slashed .250/.341/.313/.654 and hit .243/.297/.320/.617 in 30 games with the Fightins. This season, Brito hit .174 (4-23) in four games in the Florida Complex League (FCL) and three games at Jersey Shore.

After being activated from the IL, the Phillies reassigned Brito to Reading. Rincones stayed with Lehigh Valley.
