All winter long teams hand out invitations. Players who sign a minor league contract often get an invitation to spring training. It’s more than tickets to a game. It’s a chance for coaches, managers, front office types, and yes, even other teams to get eyes on a player. The Phillies have given out 27 of them so far. Here is a look at who got the invitations and a little about them.

PITCHERS
Andrew Bechtold, RHP, 29 – Ranked 6th in Eastern League with 12.55 strikeouts per 9 IP.
Genesis Cabrera, LHP, 29 – 312 career games with a 17-15, 4.24 record with 303 Ks in 318.1 IP.
Tucker Davidson, LHP, 29 – Spent 2025 in the KBO. 10-5, 3.65, 119 Ks in 123.1 IP. (Scouting Report)
Jonathan Hernandez, RHP, 29 – 13-8, 4.29, 150 K, 81 BB in 127 games (3 starts) and 153 IP.
Tim Mayza, LHP, 34 – 20-9, 3.87 in 382 MLB relief outings. 319 K, 104 BB in 318.1 IP.
Michael Mercado, RHP, 26 – Strong Triple-A numbers, but struggled in eight games with Philadelphia.
Trevor Richards, RHP, 32 – 61 starts, 234 relief appearances in the majors with a 4.53 ERA.
Andrew Walling, LHP, 26 – Tied for second on Reading’s 2025 staff with six saves.
Bryse Wilson, RHP, 28 – Held right-handed hitters to a .174 average with Triple-A Charlotte in 2025.

CATCHERS
Kehden Hettiger, B:R, 21 – Threw out 27.3-percent of basestealers. Baseball America calls him the best defensive catcher in the Phillies system. (Scouting Report)
Mark Kolozsvary, B:R, 30 – Veteran catcher with over 1,400 minor league games and 11 MLB games. Missed most of last season with an undisclosed injury.
Paul McIntosh, B:R, 28 – Acquired in the Jesus Luzardo trade. Played at Clearwater, Reading, and Lehigh Valley in 2025 with a .259/.356/.435/.791 slash line.
Rene Pinto, B:R, 29 – Had an .807 OPS with Double-A and Triple-A in 2025 in the D-backs organization. (Scouting Report)
Caleb Ricketts, B:L, 25 – Spent 2025 with Clearwater, Jersey Shore, and Reading and hit .275, which was 7th among all Phillies MiLB players with 250 or more at-bats. (Scouting Report)

INFIELDERS
Keaton Anthony, B:R, 24 – 2025 cut short by injury. Slashed .323/.378/.484/.862 with Reading and Lehigh Valley.
Christian Cairo, B:R, 24 – Played second, third, short, and all three outfield positions at Triple-A Columbus (Cleveland) in 2025. (Scouting Report)
Carson DeMartini, B:L, 23 – An infielder with a slash line of .237/.340/.367/.707 between Jersey Shore and Reading.
Aroon Escobar, b:r, 21 – Top 110 prospect in all of baseball. Hit .270/.361/.413/.774 in 120 games with Clearwater, Jersey Shore, and Reading.
Aidan Miller, B:R, 21 – Led the Eastern League in walks (73) and stolen bases (52), second in runs (74), third in OBP (.382).
Liover Peguero, B:R, 25 – Has 96 MLB games under his belt playing short, second, and first.
Felix Reyes, B:R, 24 – Reigning Eastern League MVP. Led all of Double-A in SLG (.572), OPS (.937) and doubles (34). Has played first base (128 games), third base (73 G), right field (62 G), and left field (37 G).
Bryan Rincon, B:S, 21 – Named the best defensive infielder and best arm in the organization by Baseball America. (Scouting Report)
Jose Rodriguez, B:R, 24 – Slashed .297/.327/.361/.688 with Clearwater, Jersey Shore, and Reading.

OUTFIELDERS
Dylan Campbell, B:R, 23 – A rising prospect after a strong AFL season. Played at High-A Jersey Shore and Double-A Reading in 2025. (Scouting Report)
Justin Crawford, B:L, 22 – Penciled in to be the starting CF in Philadelphia. Slashed .334/.411/.452/.863 in 112 Triple-A games in 2025.
Bryan De La Cruz, B:R, 29 – Reigning MVP of the Dominican Winter League. MLB career .251/.295/.402/.697 in 491 MLB games.
Dante Nori, B:L, 21 – Phillies 27th overall pick in the 2024 Draft, the 21-year-old was second in triples (11) and third in hits (111) and total bases (161) in the Florida State League. (Scouting Report)
