Major League Baseball announced the rosters for the Arizona Fall League on Wednesday. The Phillies players will make up part of the Surprise Saguaros along with prospects from the Cleveland Guardians, Kansas City Royals, Milwaukee Brewers, and Texas Rangers. Jesus Aguaje, who managed the Quad Cities River Bandits, the High-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals this season will manage Surprise. The Arizona Fall League (AFL) opens on Monday October 6 with one game and the Saguaros play their first game in Mesa the next day.

The Phillies are sending infielders Aidan Miller and Carson DeMartini, outfielder Dante Nori and pitchers Eiberson Castellano (RHP), Jack Dallas (RHP), Jaydenn Estanista (RHP), Daniel Harper (RHP), and Tommy McCollum (RHP).

Miller, a shortstop, was just promoted to Triple-A Lehigh Valley after he played 108 games at Double-A Reading where he hit 13-41-.258/.384/.426 with 52 stolen bases. Also just promoted was Dante Nori who moved from High-A Jersey Shore to Double-A Reading for the final week of the Double-A season. The 20-year-old opened the season with Low-A Clearwater and played 109 games with the Threshers before going to Jersey Shore where he played 11 games and was then moved up another level to Reading. In 121 games this season, Nori hit 4 home runs and drove in 47 with a slash line of .263/.364/.373 at the three levels. Infielder DeMartini, 22, split the season between Jersey Shore (53 games) and Reading (66 games) and hit .284/.402/.474 with the BlueClaws and batted .202/.291/.288 with the Fightins. He had a combined 10 home runs and 52 RBI with 45 stolen bases.

Harper, 26, opened the season with Reading and pitched in one game before being placed on the IL until May 31st when he began a minor league rehab assignment with Clearwater. In 4 games with Clearwater, Harper posted a 2.08 ERA and was activated by Reading on June 17. On July 4th, Harper was promoted to Lehigh Valley only to wind up back on the IL two months later with a right ankle sprain. Between the three levels Harper pitched in 22 games covering 23.2 innings with a 7.23 ERA and 12 walks to go with 24 strikeouts.

The 24-year-old Castellano has a 4-2, 5.40 mark in 18 relief appearances and one start for Reading this season. In 34.2 innings, Castellano has 17 walks and 37 strikeouts. Dallas, 26, pitched at Jersey Shore before a recent promotion to Reading. With the BlueClaws, Dallas went 5-2, 3.50 in 39 games with 18 walks and 55 strikeouts in 54 innings. In two games at Double-A, Dallas has allowed one hit and has struck out four in three innings.

Estanista, who will be 24 when the AFL season opens, pitched well for Jersey Shore despite walking 13 hitters in 22.2 innings and was promoted to Reading where he made his first appearance on July 5th. In 17 outings, Estanista is 1-1, 6.98 with 16 walks and 19 strikeouts in 19.1 innings.

McCollum pitched in 7 games with Jersey Shore and has made 36 relief appearances with Reading for a combined mark of 1-3, 2.95 with 12 saves in 15 opportunities this season.
