Lehigh Valley IronPigs

The IronPigs secured a thrilling 3–2 walk-off victory over the Norfolk Tides at Coca-Cola Park. The game was a tightly contested affair, with both teams showcasing strong pitching and timely hitting. Lehigh Valley starter Nabil Crismatt delivered a solid outing, allowing just one run over six innings while striking out four. He kept the Tides off balance with a mix of off-speed pitches and pinpoint control. Nolan Hoffman earned the win in relief, tossing a scoreless ninth inning.

Offensively, the IronPigs were quiet early but came alive late. Óscar Mercado tied the game in the sixth with an RBI single. After Norfolk regained the lead in the eighth on a solo homer, Keaton Anthony responded with his first home run of the season to even the score. In the bottom of the ninth, Rodolfo Castro launched a solo shot on the first pitch he saw, sending the home crowd into a frenzy and sealing the win. Castro’s homer was his 11th of the season and marked his second career walk-off blast.

Reading Fightin Phils

Reading mounted a late comeback to defeat the Binghamton Rumble Ponies 6–3 in the series opener. Starter Estibenzon Jimenez was sharp early, retiring the first nine batters and finishing with six innings pitched, three runs allowed, and a season-high eight strikeouts. He kept Binghamton’s top prospects in check for most of the night.

The offense was dormant until the sixth, when Aidan Miller doubled to spark a rally. Hendry Mendez reached on an error that allowed a run to score, and Paul McIntosh followed with an RBI double. In the seventh, Nick Dunn tied the game with a solo homer, and Carson DeMartini gave Reading the lead with a sacrifice fly. The Fightins added two insurance runs in the eighth on a passed ball and an RBI single from Alex Binelas. Jack Dallas earned the win in relief, and Andrew Bechtold closed it out for the save.

Jersey Shore BlueClaws

Jersey Shore opened their series against Wilmington with a 6–3 win, their third straight victory. Starter Reese Dutton pitched 5.2 innings, allowing three runs (only one earned) and striking out three. Paxton Thompson earned the win in relief, and Andrew Baker closed the door with a clean ninth for his third save of the month.

The BlueClaws offense was opportunistic, scoring two unearned runs in the second on a Raylin Heredia single and a Joel Dragoo groundout. After Wilmington took the lead in the sixth, Jersey Shore responded with a four-run seventh. Heredia reached on an error that scored two, and Dragoo followed with a two-run double—his first RBIs with the team. Eduardo Tait made his debut, going 0-for-4 but showing promise with a hard-hit lineout in a key spot.

Clearwater Threshers

Clearwater edged Bradenton 3–2 in extra innings thanks to a walk-off single from Alirio Ferrebus. Starter Sam Highfill gave the Threshers five solid innings, allowing two runs on four hits with four strikeouts. The bullpen was stellar: Marty Gair, Adilson Peralta, and Danyony Pulido combined for five scoreless innings, with Pulido earning the win and striking out four.

Brady Day tripled in the third and scored on a Raider Tello groundout to give Clearwater an early lead. Bradenton responded with a solo homer and an RBI single to go up 2–1. In the eighth, Tello singled and advanced to third on an error, then scored on a clutch RBI single from John Spikerman. In the tenth, Ferrebus—who entered mid-game—delivered the game-winning hit to left field, scoring Cole Roberts from third. It was Clearwater’s eighth walk-off win of the season and Ferrebus’s first walk-off hit as a Thresher.
