Lehigh Valley IronPigs

The IronPigs secured a 5–2 win over the Rochester Red Wings at Coca-Cola Park. Mick Abel delivered another stellar outing, tossing six shutout innings while allowing just two hits and two walks, and striking out five. He escaped a bases-loaded jam in the sixth to preserve the lead. Offensively, Lehigh Valley struck early with a first-inning run on a double play and a solo homer by Gabriel Rincones Jr., his ninth of the season. In the sixth, Oscar Mercado drove in a run with a single, and Donovan Walton added a sacrifice fly. Garrett Stubbs capped the scoring with a solo homer in the seventh, his seventh of the year. Stubbs also walked twice and scored twice. Keaton Anthony contributed with a deep double and a run scored. The bullpen held firm, with three relievers combining to allow just one run over the final three innings.

Reading Fightin Phils

Reading blanked the Portland Sea Dogs 3–0 behind dominant pitching and timely hitting. Starter Chuck King was sharp, tossing five scoreless innings while allowing just two hits and striking out four. The bullpen followed with four shutout frames, including a clean ninth from closer Tommy McCollum. Offensively, Reading struck early with two runs in the first inning. Paul McIntosh continued his hot streak with a two-run single, and Aidan Miller added a run-scoring hit in the second. Raider Tello chipped in with two hits and an RBI. The Fightins allowed only two hits all game, tying a season low, and earned their third shutout of the year.

Jersey Shore BlueClaws

The BlueClaws, playing as the Jersey Shore Locals, defeated the Hudson Valley Renegades (aka The Bennys) 4–1. Starter Mavis Graves pitched four scoreless innings, allowing just two hits and striking out three. Brandon Beckel and Saul Teran followed with three shutout innings in relief. Kehden Hettiger opened the scoring with an RBI groundout in the third. Zach Arnold gave the Locals the lead in the sixth with an RBI single, and Devin Saltiban added an RBI double in the seventh. Aroon Escobar’s sacrifice fly rounded out the scoring. Elio Prado had a two-hit game and scored a run.

Clearwater Threshers

Clearwater fell 9–4 to the Lakeland Flying Tigers despite an early lead. Dante Nori led off the game with a triple and scored on Eduardo Tait’s sacrifice fly. Brady Day and Raider Tello each drove in runs in the first and third innings, with Tello collecting two RBIs on the night. Starter Giussepe Velásquez allowed five runs over five innings, striking out five. The bullpen struggled, surrendering four more runs over the final three frames. Clearwater’s offense stalled late, going down in order in the final three innings.
