Lehigh Valley IronPigs
The IronPigs extended their winning streak to four games with an 8–3 victory over the Buffalo Bisons. Offensively, they erupted for a six-run fifth inning that broke a 1–1 tie. Payton Henry had a standout night, going 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an RBI double. Rodolfo Castro delivered the big blow in the fifth with a three-run homer, part of a 2-for-4 performance that also included a double. Óscar Mercado and Cal Stevenson added RBI hits to cap the rally. Justin Crawford chipped in with a sacrifice fly in the sixth, his 29th RBI of the year.
On the mound, top prospect Andrew Painter struck out five over 4.1 innings, allowing two runs on five hits and a walk. Reading Fightin Phils
A pinch-hit three-run home run in the bottom of the ninth gave Richmond a 6-3 walk-off win over Reading Friday night. The home run came against losing pitcher Travis Kuhn (6-3, 5.59), who was in his second inning of relief. Starter Charles King allowed three earned runs over six innings, allowing eight hits, but not walking a batter for the Fightins. Gunner Mayer pitched a clean inning of relief before giving way to Kuhn.

Jersey Shore BlueClaws
Jersey Shore fell 6–3 to the Brooklyn Cyclones despite briefly taking a 3–2 lead in the seventh inning. The offense was quiet early but came alive in the sixth and seventh. Avery Owusu-Asiedu scored on a wild pitch to get the BlueClaws on the board. In the seventh, Jordan Dissin delivered a clutch two-run single to give Jersey Shore a short-lived lead. However, defensive miscues and three balks in the bottom of the eighth allowed Brooklyn to reclaim and extend their lead.
Pitching-wise, the BlueClaws bullpen struggled late. Reliever Cristhian Tortosa was charged with multiple balks and a wild pitch that led to three runs in the eighth. Despite bringing the tying run to the plate in the ninth, Jersey Shore couldn’t mount a comeback.

Despite the loss, the pitching staff performed admirably. Giussepe Velasquez threw five innings in relief and allowed just one unearned run on four hits and a walk. Luke Gabrysh started but went just two innings, allowing just one baserunner on a walk for Clearwater.
