Lehigh Valley IronPigs
The IronPigs outslugged the Buffalo Bisons in a 12–8 victory at Sahlen Field. Lehigh Valley’s offense erupted for 17 hits, led by catcher Garrett Stubbs, who went 3-for-5 with a three-run homer, his fifth of the season. Rafael Lantigua was electric at the plate, hitting for a near cycle with a single, double, and triple, driving in two runs and scoring twice. Weston Wilson also contributed three singles and two RBI, while Matt Kroon added two RBI and a sacrifice fly.
On the mound, starter Gabe Mosser earned his third win, tossing five innings of two-run ball with four strikeouts. Though the bullpen wobbled in the middle innings, Seth Johnson and Daniel Robert combined for two scoreless frames to seal the win. Lehigh Valley went 3-for-10 with runners in scoring position and left nine men on base, but their early offensive explosion proved decisive.
Reading Fightin Phils
Four-scoreless innings from Koyo Aoyagi in his Reading debut, and four-more shut down frames from Mitch Neunborn, led the Reading Fightin Phils to a 1-0 win over the Richmond Flying Squirrels on Thursday night from The Diamond. Aoyagi, making his first appearance with the R-Phils, worked around four walks to keep Richmond off the board over the game’s first four innings. The sidewinding righty also did not allow a hit over his four innings of work. After Aoyagi, Mitch Neunborn (W, 3-2) entered and was stellar in relief. Neunborn matched a season-high with five strikeouts over four innings, while scattering just two hits. Andrew Walling (S, 4) polished off Reading’s second-shutout win of the season with a scoreless ninth inning.
The Fightin Phils scored their lone run of the night when Hendry Mendez launched his sixth home run of the season in the top if the third inning.

Matt Higgins then lined a single to center to drive in both runners for a 5-3 lead. Higgins and Joel Dragoo both had two hits in the game with Higgins driving in three runs and Arnold driving in two with a two-run home run in the sixth.
