Lehigh Valley IronPigs (Triple-A)
The IronPigs were shut out 4–0 by the Rochester Red Wings at Coca-Cola Park. Rochester scored early, with a run in the first and two more in the second. Yohandy Morales added an RBI double in the ninth to cap the scoring. Lehigh Valley managed just five hits, two of which came from Keaton Anthony, who recorded his second straight multi-hit game. Gabe Mosser took the loss, allowing three runs over four innings. Lehigh Valley now has a one-game lead over Jacksonville for the first half championship in the International League, with four games remaining to be played.
Reading Fightin Phils (Double-A)
Reading fell 3–0 to the Hartford Yard Goats, marking their fourth shutout loss of the season. Jean Cabrera started strong, striking out the side in the first inning and finishing with four strikeouts over three innings. However, he gave up three runs in the third, including a two-run double by Juan Guerrero. Offensively, Reading struggled, collecting just five hits. Nick Dunn had two of them, while the top five hitters in the lineup went a combined 1-for-18.
Jersey Shore BlueClaws (High-A)
The BlueClaws hosted the Hudson Valley Renegades and won 1–0 in a tight pitchers’ duel. Alex McFarlane started for Jersey Shore, while Elmer Rodriguez-Cruz took the mound for Hudson Valley. The game was decided by a single run, and the BlueClaws’ pitching staff held the Renegades scoreless for the third time this season.
Clearwater Threshers (Single-A)
Clearwater edged out the Dunedin Blue Jays 6–5 in an 11-inning thriller at BayCare Ballpark. The Threshers trailed 2–0 early but tied the game with runs in the sixth and seventh. Both teams scored in the 10th and 11th innings, but Clearwater pushed across three in the bottom of the 11th to walk it off. The win improved their recent record to 4–1 over the last five games.
